Travel Insurance Assistance Plan

You look forward to your vacation every year, but do you think about your safety while travelling? That’s why BIT Bank and AXA Middle East have created BITsafrak, the Travel Insurance Assistance Plan, which will provide you with worldwide medical assistance and protection in case you need it.

In case of loss of registered luggage, delay of flight or luggage, “AXA Assistance” will pay the amount of indemnity as indicated but will not provide any kind of specific services.

• Medical cover up to € 30,000
• Medical repatriation due to illness or accident
• Repatriation of your family members or any other person traveling with you
• Return ticket for visiting relative, in case of hospitalization (exceeding 7 days) or death
• Accommodation expenses due to illness or accident (up to € 60/day, not exceeding 10 days)
• Repatriation of remains in case of death (no limit)
• Emergency dental care ( € 160, € 25 excess)
• Legal assistance (up to € 4,000)
• Advance of bail bond (up to € 10,000)
• Luggage delivery delay ( € 300 over 12 hours delay)
• Loss of registered luggage (up to 40kg at € 20 per kilo max.)
• Flight delays ( € 150 over 4 hours delay)

• Two tariffs are available:
  Zone 1 covers the world excluding USA & Canada
  Zone 2 covers the world including USA & Canada
• The protection will not be valid for people residing for over 90 consecutive days in the same country, during the same trip, and for clients over the age of 65, the protection is for one month maximum
• The premium is function of duration and zone only. It is automatically deducted from your account
• Maximum entry age: 75 years
• The insured should be a customer at BIT Bank
• The policy is directly handed to you at the counter of the bank
